Asparagus racemose Willd.

An extensive spinous , much branched woody climber with fasciculated tuberous roots . Leaves linear , stout conical spinous spur , straight or slightly curved cladodes , slender , spinous -pointed . Infloresence racemes . Flowers white , fragrant in simple racemes , one or two , bract small ; petals 6 ,white with pink tinge , bell shaped . Fruit berry , globose , red coloured . Seed spherical , black , oily endospermous .
