Bidens pilosa L.

Annual herb, stem 30 - 180 cm tall leaves oppositely arranged, pinnate, glaborous or very sparesely pubescent in upper part. Three to five toothed, ovate to lanceshaped leaflets . Leaf stalks slightly winged . Flowers borne in small heads , head bear four or five broad white ray florets , surrounding many yellow disc florets , inflorescence solitary capitula . Fruits slightly curved , stiff , rough black rods .
