Cnidoscolus aconitifolius (Mill.)

Monoecious shrub to small trees with milky latex . Leaves alternate , suborbicular , 10 - 20 cm across , cordate at base , subglabrous , shallow to deeply 3 - 7 lobed ; lobes narrow , strongly dentate to pinnatified , acute to acuminate at apex ; petiole 10 - 20 cm long , glandular at apex . Flowers in terminal dichotomous cymes . Tepals 5 , to 1 cm long , petaloid , white . Capsule ovoid - globose , hispid .
