Plant Details

Leucas aspera (Willd.) Link.

Erect hirsute herb to 40 cm tall. Leaves simple, opposite, linear - lanceolate , apex acute , base cuneate, margin distantly serrate, puberulous, petiole 3 mm long. Verticils terminal and axillary; bract linear, equaling calyx , hirsute. Calyx 6 mm long , tubular . Corolla white, outside hairy above, inside middle annulate with oblique and discontinuous ring of fleshy hairs, fan shaped. Nutlets 2.5 × 1 mm, dark brownish, glabrous shining .
