ASAP (Additional Skill Acquisition Programme)

Additional Skill Acquisition Programme ( ASAP) is a novel initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Kerala to promote skills in students. The programme, commenced during November 2012, aims at giving training to selected final year degree and PG students from various colleges in the state. The selected students are given special training in Communicative Language Teaching and IT skills as part of 21 days long residential training camps.The purpose of conducting such camps is to select Skill Development Executives(SDEs). The college is an SDE training centre of ASAP. Two residential camps were held in the college in 2013 and one in 2014. The regular skill training programme of ASAP for the first year and second year degree students is also held in the college.
