Counsel House

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center in the college is termed the 'Counsel House' to make it more friendly and 'homely'

The Center was established in 2004 with the help of some well wishers. Since then, the college could make use of the service of the reverend priests of the church from time to time.

Once the Tutorial system was strengthened by the University and by the college, it obviated the need for a separate counseling center as the tutor could handle most of the issues.

However, the challenges posed by the information technology revolution was far more than expected.

Presently, the counseling house is managed by Ms. Aneeshiya George Palliparambil, a professional counselor of merit.

Ms. Aneeshiya has her Post Graduation in Psychology from Christ University in Bangalore with specialisation in Human Resource Development and Management. (HRDM).

She was part of the ENFOLD-Peer Education System Programme and had done a course in Work and Health. She is also specialised in Addiction Psychology.

Apart from all, she has a good handwriting and was an all India winner.

While group sessions are open and compulsory, individual sessions are given upon reference and prior appointment.
